Summer electives are available for 7th grade through adults.
These classes will begin July 5th and run through August 23rd. The locations will be determined based on the number of registrations for each class.

Apologetics 2
Led by Eric Hine
PREREQUISITE: If you took part 1 of the class last summer, you are welcome to participate in part 2 this summer. It is designed as a more interactive learning environment, providing those who participate with an opportunity in class to practice what is being learned.

Life on Life Evangelism at the YIC
Led by Todd Stewart
Each Sunday we will meet at the YIC and provide food, an activity and a Bible lesson from 9:50-11:45. There is also opportunity to serve them on select Saturdays throughout the summer for a fun evening of food and activities. Women’s Elective: Belonging to God — Called to Be His
Led by Shawna Henry, Katie Fichtner, Kathy Hoover, Kris McAllister, Karel Strait, and Laura Xentaras

Spiritual Friendship
Led by Mark Breneman & Jimmy Knapp
This elective will examine what scripture has to say about friendships and walking in close community with other believers. It will use Jesus as the perfect example of a Spiritual Friend to those around him. Through his example and his teachings, you will develop the strategies and skills conducive to building friendships marked by mutual encouragement, accountability, and loving service to one another.

Answering Your Call to Suffer
Led by Steve Scheidt
Each week we will explore what it means to follow in Jesus’ steps in various trials, learning how suffering refines our faith, glorifies God, and prepares us for eternal joy. “To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.” (1 Peter 2:21)
