Eric Hine has served as a pastor at Millersville Bible Church for 25 years. As MBC’s Preaching Pastor, he is also involved in teaching, discipleship, counseling, missions, and athletics. Before coming to MBC, Eric directed the ministry of Rumney Bible Conference in New Hampshire.

Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Houghton College and a Master of Divinity from Baptist Bible Seminary in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania.

Eric has been married to his wife, Amy, for 35 years. They have four adult children and four grandchildren.

Life Scripture: “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28.

Dave has been part of Millersville Bible Church since 1994, when he began attending as a student at Millersville University. He started serving in children’s ministry the following year and has continued to invest in the lives of children and families ever since. He began serving at MBC part-time in 2001 and joined the staff full-time in November 2008.

Today, he serves as Children’s Ministry Pastor and Director of Finances and Human Resources. His ministry includes overseeing MBC Kids, managing the church’s finances, providing financial coaching, and handling human resources needs.

He holds a degree in Elementary Education from Millersville University. His passion for children’s ministry was shaped early on by serving alongside his parents in children’s ministry and continues today through building relationships with kids and being part of their lives. After more than 30 years at MBC, he considers the church family and treasures the relationships he has built with so many people.

He and his wife, Heather, have been married since 2000 and have three children. Outside of church, he enjoys playing roller hockey, following Philadelphia sports, reading, studying history, and spending time with his family and MBC family.

Todd and his wife, Kris, were married in 1981 and came to faith in Christ in 1982. After sensing the Lord’s call to prepare for ministry, they sold their business in 1985 and began studying at Lancaster Bible College. They began attending Millersville Bible Church in 1986 and have remained connected to MBC for more than 40 years.

In 1987, Todd and Kris were commissioned as missionaries with UFM International and began serving as church-planting missionaries. Over the next 16 years, they lived and ministered in Quebec, Haiti, and Guyana, with MBC serving as one of their supporting churches. Throughout their years overseas, they maintained associate membership at MBC.

After returning to the United States in 2003, they began a construction company and lived on their family farm. The company has since transitioned to the next generation. In 2011, Todd began serving on staff at MBC. His ministry has included counseling, discipleship, leadership development, member care, missions, general oversight, and preaching.

Todd and Kris are blessed with six children, including three through marriage, and eight grandchildren. They are thankful for the many ways the Lord has worked in and through their family and for the opportunity to continue serving Him and His people at MBC.

Dennis has been serving at Millersville Bible Church since 1990, when he and his wife, Sharon, became members and began volunteering with On Track Youth Ministry. In 1999, he became MBC’s full-time youth pastor and has continued serving in youth ministry ever since. Today, he serves as Pastor of On Track Youth Ministry and Overseer of Facilities and Deacons.

His ministry focuses on teaching, mentoring, and praying for junior and senior high students, training and leading volunteer youth staff, and creating opportunities for students to grow in their faith and live out a Christian worldview. He also oversees MBC’s facilities and grounds, coordinating maintenance and projects and working alongside the deacons, staff, and volunteers to care for the church’s property.

His passion for youth ministry began as a teenager through Lancaster Youth For Christ, where he grew in his understanding of what it means to faithfully follow Jesus. After graduating from Lampeter-Strasburg High School in 1982, he continued serving with YFC as a volunteer leader for the L-S Jr. High Bible Club. Encouraged by YFC leaders to pursue youth ministry, he earned a degree in Youth Ministry from Lancaster Bible College. In 1990, he became a full-time youth pastor with YFC while continuing to serve with On Track at MBC. When YFC eventually sold its property to MBC, he likes to say, “It’s been said that I came with the acquisition.” 😎

MBC has been home for him and Sharon for more than 35 years. They have had the joy of watching the Lord work through the obedience of His people, while seeing their own four children grow up surrounded by a church family that loved and invested in them. All four of their children are now married, have children of their own, and are members of MBC. They currently have eight grandchildren.

Outside of ministry, he enjoys spending time with Sharon, especially during their weekly date nights, and intentionally building relationships with their grandchildren. He also enjoys renovating homes, creating items for their event-supply side business, fixing up cars, and occasionally chasing down a chicken that has “flown the coop.”

Gene is one of the newest additions to the pastoral staff at Millersville Bible Church. He and his wife, Karel, have been connected to MBC since their college days at Millersville University. After teaching Biology in a public high school for 35 years, Gene now has the opportunity to invest in the lives of college students at his alma mater.

As Pastor of Adult Education, Evangelism, and Prayer, Gene has a particular passion for helping people grow in their understanding of Scripture and their relationship with Christ. He has led the Bridgebuilders class at MBC for many years and also serves with a men’s group on Wednesday evenings. He holds a Master of Biblical Studies degree from Lancaster Bible College.

Gene and Karel have three adult children and enjoy spending time with their families, especially their grandchildren. Outside of ministry, Gene enjoys being outdoors—hiking, biking, kayaking, and exploring, particularly with family and friends.

Sarah has served in the Finance Department at Millersville Bible Church for eight years and has been part of the MBC family for sixteen years. Before joining the staff, she worked in retail management and banking and served as a bookkeeper for her family-owned business.

Sarah is actively involved in the Turning Point Sunday School Class and has helped coordinate various church events. Her interest in discipleship and counseling has led her to participate in Journey Groups and complete three courses in Self-Confrontation.

One of Sarah’s greatest passions is the GriefShare ministry at MBC, where she has served for the past four years. She considers it an honor to comfort others with the same comfort God gave her following the death of her first husband in 2005, holding tightly to the promise of 2 Corinthians 1:3–4.

Sarah has been joyfully married to Gary for seventeen years. Together, they enjoy traveling, home remodeling, and serving at MBC in many different ways. They cherish their blended family of five children and thirteen grandchildren, each in unique ages and stages of life. Sarah also enjoys thrifting, crafting, and exploring her creativity. Above all, she loves her Savior, Jesus Christ, and is grateful for the many opportunities He has given her to grow, serve, and glorify Him.

Robin Fisher has been part of Millersville Bible Church for 31 years and has served on staff for nearly three decades. She considers it a joy to serve a church that faithfully teaches biblical truth and to watch families grow and raise their children to follow Christ.

Robin helps care for the many practical needs of MBC and enjoys making sure the details that keep the church running smoothly are taken care of. She has a servant’s heart and finds joy in supporting the church family in both big and small ways—including making sure the toilet paper dispensers are always full!

Robin has been married to her husband, Scott, for 42 years. They have one daughter and two granddaughters, and she considers being a grandmother one of life’s great joys. Robin grew up on a pig farm with her Christian parents and younger sister, an experience that helped shape her appreciation for family and faith.

Outside of MBC, Robin loves spending time in her flower beds and never passes up the opportunity to find a good thrift store bargain.

Ty joined the MBC staff in 2019 as part-time intern, eventually growing into a full-time Worship Arts role in 2020. He graduated from Lancaster Bible College in 2018 with degrees in Music Composition and Biblical Studies, and his other artistic outlets include playing bass for theater and live shows, recording as a studio musician, and releasing original music under the moniker Passing Pines.

From planning every Sunday gathering’s details and plugging in cables – to curating Scripture readings and crafting songs – to maintaining administrative systems and managing our ever-growing team of worship artists  – Ty sees it as his primary responsibility to never stop exploring the ways the Spirit can do his deep work through music and the arts in the MBC family. It’s a gift to see how the arts bring us into communion with our Creator, and transform us towards the heart of Christ. He especially enjoys the work we are doing to write our own new songs for and from the body at MBC.

But above all these day-to-day details, it’s his goal to always model and remind this community that worship is a posture that runs underneath each of our lives. Everyone is a worshipper, and how we spend our time and what we make with our lives will reveal who or what we are worshipping. “So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering” (Eugene Peterson, Romans 12:1 paraphrase).

Ty loves living life with his creative partner-in-crime, Justina, and their two crazy miracle kids, Theo & Lyla. You can catch them exploring nature somewhere or at home in Lancaster City building Legos, playing floor hockey, or having a family dance party.

One of the most treasured truths Justina and Ty have written on their hearts is that Jesus is with us – in it all. Jehovah Shammah – the God who is there (Ez. 48:35). He is near to the broken-hearted (Ps. 34:18). His beauty both breaks us open and binds up our wounds (Psalm 51:17, 147:3). He is in our midst, whatever the circumstance – “he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing” (Zeph. 3:17).

Alex has been part of Millersville Bible Church since 2020 and has served on staff since 2021, becoming full-time in 2023. In his role as Multimedia Specialist, Alex oversees media and communication at MBC and also serves with the Worship Arts, Missions, and Youth Ministries. He especially enjoys serving as one of the directors of UE Camp, where his love for working with kids and his playful personality are put to good use.

Alex first became connected to MBC through the Navigators at Millersville University. Through that ministry, he met people from MBC whose faithfulness to Jesus and desire to know Him and make His name known deeply impacted him. What he enjoys most about serving at MBC is the people, who have become like family to him and are marked by unity, encouragement, and a shared devotion to Christ.

Born and raised in Willow Street, Alex now lives in Lancaster City. He has studied at Millersville University and Messiah College and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies at Lancaster Bible College. His faith has been shaped significantly by his involvement with the Navigators throughout college.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time with friends, drinking coffee, playing music, attending concerts, and traveling. He has visited 10 countries over the past seven years and loves exploring the world and experiencing new places.

Donna Wiggins has been part of Millersville Bible Church for 30 years and has served as a full-time secretary and receptionist for the past 20 years. It is her privilege to serve the church family through her work in the MBC office, as well as through ministry as a women’s table leader in Self-Confrontation and a Pre-K Sunday School classroom aide.

Donna especially enjoys watching God work in and through the lives of people at MBC and being able to be part of that work. She also has the privilege of communicating regularly with MBC’s missionary family, gathering their prayer requests and praises for the church’s Missions Prayer Calendar. Through both the joys and difficulties of life, Donna has seen God prove Himself good and faithful.

Born and raised in Lancaster County, Donna trusted Christ as her Savior in fifth grade after asking her Sunday School teacher about 2 Corinthians 5:17. She graduated from Hempfield High School and has been married to her husband, Bob, for 47 years. They have two children, their spouses, and five grandchildren, whom they love dearly.

Outside of ministry, Donna enjoys reading. She and Bob also enjoy traveling together and celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a two-week road trip through the Southwestern United States in 2019.
