Romans 11:17-24

What an amazing truth that there is only one people of God – Jews and Gentiles who have the same faith as Abraham. Paul’s metaphor of the olive tree in this passage makes it clear that the tree is from the root of Abraham and that some of the natural branches have been broken off (Jews), and some wild shoots (Gentiles) have been grafted in. There is no boasting, however, as all come to salvation the same way – by grace through faith in the Messiah who has come, Jesus Christ. Know also, a day is coming when a great revival will take place when many broken off branches will be grafted back into the tree.
