The First Gospel Promise

Genesis 3:15

Are we amazed that even amidst deserved judgment God provided a solution for the problem we caused? As man plunged himself into sin in the Garden of Eden, God promised a Messiah who would come, born of a virgin, would suffer on our behalf, and who would triumph in victory over the evil one. His remedy for our greatest need – being saved from our sins – would be provided by His own sacrifice on behalf of all who trust in Him alone for salvation.
