Eric Hine has been a pastor at Millersville Bible Church in Lancaster County, PA, for the past twenty-five years. He is the preaching pastor, but is also involved teaching, discipleship, counseling, missions, and athletic ministries. Eric has been married to his wife Amy for 35 years. They have four adult children, and four grandchildren. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Houghton College and a Masters of Divinity from Baptist Bible Seminary in Clarks Summit, PA. Before coming to Millersville Bible Church he was directing the ministry of Rumney Bible Conference in New Hampshire. Life verse Romans 8:28.

My wife, Kris, and I were married in the Spring of 1981. We were brought out of the kingdom of darkness and into the kingdom of His dear Son in the Spring of 1982. Having sensed a call from the Lord to prepare to serve Him, we sold our business in 1985 and began studies at Lancaster Bible College. In February of 1986 we began attending Millersville Bible Church. 1987 was a big year for us. The first of our three children was born and we were commissioned as missionaries with UFM int. We served as church-planting missionaries from 1987 until 2003, having lived in Quebec, Haiti, and Guyana. MBC was one of our supporting churches. We maintained associate member status with MBC throughout a 25 year period of time. In 2003 we began our construction company and lived on our family farm. The company recently transitioned to next generation ownership. In 2011 we began serving on staff at MBC. Roles have included counseling, discipleship, leadership development, member-care, missions, general oversight and preaching. Currently, Kris and I are blessed to have six children (three by marriage) and eight grandchildren. We are thankful for all that the Lord has done in and through us. “I will not venture to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me…” Romans 15:18

Gene is our newest addition to the pastoral staff at MBC. He and his wife Karel have attended since their college days at Millersville University. After teaching Biology for thirty-five years in a public high school, Gene now has the opportunity to invest in the lives of college students at his alma mater. He has led the Bridgebuilders class at MBC for many years. He also works with a men’s group on
Wednesday evenings. He received his Masters of Biblical Studies degree at Lancaster Bible College. He enjoys spending time outside hiking, biking kayaking, and exploring, especially with the families of his three adult children, which includes his wonderful grandchildren.
